Open Call to Visual Artists & Writers
Deadline: April 15th, 2016 Apply Now firstname.lastname@example.org The artist residency questions contemporary boundaries in denying conventional space and creating one focused on artist’s personal growth through artistic creation. Here is a crossing of boundaries toward a non-traditional environment where expansion and experimentation is an ongoing dialogue. The proposal is dedicated to artists that wish to live in a community connected to nature to produce work that confronts contemporary and conventional boundaries. Artists are enabled to give courses, learn from visiting professionals and visit nearby cities.
Visual artists and writers are joyfully welcomed as a strong and growing part of the community that is Les Moustaches. We encourage both physically intensive and conceptually weighted work. The residency allows for flexibility but necessitates that the artists push their limits in creative process and construction of their work. A work should be questioned, here is a place to delve within ones practice and make the work merely as a means. The work remains in the Mercantour National Park.
